This statement clarifies ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article, including the authors, the editors, the peer-reviewers, and the publisher.

This statement is based on Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors in large part, on the guidelines and standards developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The relevant duties and expectations of authors, reviewers, and editors of the journal are set out below.
